Madhuri Dixit To judge Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 4

Jhalak Dikhla JaaMadhuri dDxit

The original dancing queen of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit has been missing from the limelight for quiet some time now. However, the actress is all set to make a comeback on the small screen as the judge of a reality show.

She was last seen in YRF productions Aaja Nachle, which turned out to be a huge box office dud. This Bollywood actress will be assessing other people on their dancing abilities on the fourth season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, which is an Indian adaptation of Dancing with the Stars.

When asked Madhuri about this she says, “Dance has always been my passion and this show is also associated with that and this is the only reason I decided to be a judge on it. It took me a while to say yes. After I went back to LA and saw Dancing with the Stars, I was convinced to take this offer.”

Our very own Dhak Dhak girl will have the company of Remo D’Souza in the panel of judges. The name of the third judge has not been reveled yet, but there are rumors that Saroj Khan may join the panel. “I have no clue who the third judge is and it will be the decision of Sony. But it will be good for me if Sarojji is the third judge. I am keeping my fingers crossed,” says Madhuri.

As a judge for the dance show, she will be concentrating on the participants poise, grace and the attitude, rest of the details will be left for the other judges. Madhuri says, “The participants on this show are well-known in their own fields. They are people who are very ambitious and will put in their best for winning this challenge. I will be looking at how they project themselves and bring their personalities in the performance.”

Bipasha Basu Ready To sizzl In Hollywood

After sizzling on Bollywood screen for almost a decade, dusky beauty Bipasha Basu has signed her first international project -- English-French director Roland Joffe`s `Singularity`.

The 31-year-old is extremely excited and admits she does have butterflies in her stomach.

"I am very excited...but have to admit that I am also a little nervous. Everything happened really fast," Bipasha told reporters.

Bipasha met Joffe in a chance encounter at the Taj Land`s End Hotel in Mumbai in September.

The $33 million movie, written by Ajey Jhankar, is a riveting tale of an impossible love set across two time periods and continents.

It is set in the backdrop of the First Anglo-Maratha War of the 18th century and revolves around four characters - a British officer in colonial India and the Indian woman he falls in love with, an American marine biologist and his researcher lover -- who gets trapped in a wrecked British merchant ship.

The film will be shot in Australia and India. Bipasha will be flying to Brisbane in the first week of November.

Bipasha, who will be missing Diwali for the initial rehearsals for the film, says she would have loved to get some more time to prepare for her role.

"I am not getting much of preparation time right now. I have been given just eight days to prepare for underwater scenes and horse riding...I wish I had at least a month`s time for preparation," she said.

As much as she would have liked to, Bipasha is also not getting much time to brush up on her history.

"There is just no time before I fly out! I have finished all my pending endorsement assignments and now I will try and grasp whatever I can there itself," she said.

Nevertheless, she is looking forward to working with Hollywood actors.

"The script is fantastic. They have a lot of expertise in their field...it`s going to be a whole lot of hard work, and it`s going to be great fun to adapt to their system of working," she said.

"Singularity" also stars Bollywood actor Abhay Deol besides Hollywood stars Chris Pine, Josh Hartnett, Olga Kurylenko, Christopher Egan and Shane Briant, among others.

Bipasha will shoot from the third week of November till the last week of December in Brisbane.

Her upcoming Indian projects include "Dum Maaro Dum" and Abbas-Mustan`s "Players".

Bipasha is glad that Abbas-Mustan, who gave her a launchpad with 2001 film "Ajnabee", were accommodating enough to adjust their dates so that she could give her nod to "Singularity".

The film is tentatively slated for a 2011 release.

‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey' Music launch In Mumbai

Bollywood stars displayed the vibrant colors of traditional Bengali looks as they appeared for the music launch of ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se’ in Mumbai. While Deepika Padukone looked innocently beautiful in her period dress code exuding the essence of her character in the film, Abhishek Bachchan too looked impressive in a traditional dhoti. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan chose to drape the silk saree in the traditional Bengali style flaunting their mehndi worn for the Karva Chauth. Big B unveiled the album which is ambient and strongly evocative of patriotic feelings.

Composer Sohail Sen has done an impressive job as vocalist as well. Sohail keeps the rustic feel intact without going overboard on the instrument usage. Check out the clicks from the event….
